Previously, Bob was Kroll’s chairman for Global Security Consulting and a managing director, following a 27-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where most recently, Bob was the Director of CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, where he led the CIA’s involvement in the global War on Terror.
Previously, he was Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Near East and South Asia and originally conceived and organized CIA’s Counter-Proliferation Division, serving as its first Chief of Operations.
Bob’s other positions included Chief of CIA’s training at “the Farm.”, CIA’s representative to the White House on Iraq; and Chief of Station in Islamabad, Pakistan 1999–2002 before and following the attacks of 9/11.
Bob received an AB with Distinction in Philosophy from Dartmouth College and later did graduate studies at the University of Virginia.
